Peach Shell Pendant

Beautiful glass earrings and pendant inspired by the beautiful coastline of the Isle of Wight where glass artist Linda Newnham lives. Each bead is created by hand one at a time using a hot flame. The glass comes in the form of rods from the island of Murano. Once the beads are completed they are placed in a kiln where they are slowly cooled to anneal the glass which prevents them from cracking. Each bead is then cleaned and made up into jewellery using only the highest quality sterling silver findings.

This shell pendant has been made using transparent peach glass on top of an ivory sand base. Each bead is decorated with shells and urchins and then the glass has been swirled to create a wave. It has been etched to resemble the look of sea glass. This pendant measures approx. 38mm from top of bail to bottom of bead. Each pendant will come with a sterling silver chain in either 16" length or 18" length and an attractive gift box.

Free UK postage on all jewellery.
